The SPCA is guided by the Animal Protection Act 1962 in Namibia. We are the only organisation which Inspectors have been authorised to uphold the law and confiscate animals.

The SPCA Windhoek has three authorised Inspectors that can intervene in neglect, abuse, and cruelty cases.

Being a small team with limited resources and many complaints each day we aim to attend all relevant complaints whilst prioritising emergencies.
